INNISFIL, Ontario — The consistency on a weekly basis at Sunset Speedway is paying off for Calvin Reesor, as evident by currently ranked second in the season standings.

Ressor started off last Saturday night by showing speed, courtesy of a fourth in the first heat. He then backed it up with a runner-up in the second qualifier after escaping a Lap 1 wreck.

Starting sixth for the 25-lap feature, he would try to work his way forward through the duration of the event, though ultimately fell short in catching the top-five with a seventh-place finish.

Reesor will use the off-week to regroup, and find the speed to get back to regularly contending for top-fives, as he has scored seven top-five’s in eight races this season. He currently sits second in points, just seven points behind Jacob Booth.
