MILLGROVE, Ontario — It wasn’t easy on Saturday night, but Cole Quinton was able to get the job done en route to scoring a feature victory at Flamboro Speedway.

The first 25-lap affair saw him start near the back of the field, with him moving forward throughout including posting his quickest lap of the race at the halfway mark. His effort was rewarded, though, with a fifth-place finish.

He would take the green flag on the front row for the second feature, taking the top spot on Lap 4. It seemed everything was in order to cruise to the checkered flag, but that wouldn’t be the case. Quinton would find himself heavily challenged by a veteran of the division through the final five laps. Despite both drivers coming close together, and the speed shown by his competitor, he was able to hold off, edging him out at the checkered flag for the victory.

Although his first win of 2022, Quinton has now scored eight straight top-five’s in 2022.
