9th In The Queenston Chevrolet Buick GMC OSCAAR Modified Points – Coltin Everingham

In his first full season of Queenston Chevrolet Buick GMC OSCAAR Modified presented by Just Foam It competition, Coltin Everingham was able to put together some highlight moments.

The past Super Stock Champion started off his season on a high at his home track of Sunset Speedway, by scoring a victory in qualifying. Despite fading back a bit mid-way through the feature, he was able to rebound for a career-best fifth-place finish. He returned to the Innisfil, Ontario facility two weeks later, scoring an 11th-place finish.

The rainout at Sauble Speedway allowed him to start up front, which he took full advantage of.

veringham ran inside the top-five for much of the feature, fading back in the final five laps to place sixth.
The momentum would follow him back to Sunset for Fall Velocity, as he was able to score his second heat victory of 2021. Although he started off the feature running inside the top-10, a spin on Lap 18 following contact relegated him to a 12th-place finish. He then followed it up with an average-day in his first appearance at Delaware Speedway for 10th.

Unfortunately, his final two races of 2021 would not go as planned, thanks to mechanical reasons. He missed qualifying at Flamboro Speedway due to clutch issues, placing 17th after pulling off early in the feature. A pair of fourths in his heats gave him the pole for the Autumn Colours Classic at Peterborough Speedway, though pulled off the track on Lap 14.

With the speed that he was able to show throughout the season, Coltin Everingham’s progress as modified competitor can only grow from here, and could see him become a steady front runner in the future.

The 2021 OSCAAR Modified season is sponsored by Queenston Chevrolet Buick GMC, Just Foam It, Scott Reinhart Trailer Sales Ltd., The Fyre Place & Patio Shop, American Racer, and Grisdale Race Products.
