BY THE NUMBERS: Ontario Outlaw Super Late Model Season

With growing car counts on a weekly basis, and some new talent embracing the fastest cars in the province, the Ontario Outlaw Super Late Models were able to put together some impressive shows all season long.

While Glenn Watson was able to secure another championship, there were some other numbers to keep in mind.

feature top-five’s for John Cadman, Ethan Cournyea, Mike Wilkinson, Glenn Watson, Dustin Jackson and John Owen led all drivers this season

3.33 was the best average finish, set by Cournyea, across three features

3.5 was the second-best average finish, set by Jackson, across four features

heat wins for Dario Capirchio led all drivers this season

drivers scored more than one heat win – Capirchio, Watson, Todd Campbell, and Brandon Passer

points was all that separated Watson and Cadman at season’s end

4.6 was the best average finish of those to run all five features, set by Watson

5th was where Sean Grosman placed in his lone start this season at Sunset Speedway

10 drivers scored a heat victory

11 drivers scored a feature top-five

17 of Passer scored his first career victory at Peterborough Speedway in August

21 of Marlie Owen made history in becoming the first female to hoist a checkered flag, with a heat win at Sunset Speedway

22 of Watson won a feature at Sauble Speedway en route to the championship

24 different drivers were part of the fields across the province

33 points was all that separated the top-four in the year-end standings

51 of Cournyea scored his first career victory at Sunset Speedway in July

61 of Jackson scored his first career victory at Sunset Speedway’s Fall Velocity

71 of Cadman capped off the year in feature victory lane at Frostoberfest
