PETERBOROUGH, Ontario — Running up front all weekend long, Paul Boundy fought back from some chaos in the Super Stock Autumn Colours Classic feature for a top-10 finish.
Boundy started off the weekend in victory lane by winning the opening qualifying heat, setting him up to start fourth for the 50-lap feature. He would fall back to sixth in the opening laps, though got back up to fourth on the an early race restart. Unfortunately, his strong run early would hit a snag when he would go around for a spin as part of a multi-car incident at Lap 13 triggered by contact ahead of him.
He was able to get his spot back for the restart due to not being part of the initial cause, taking over the third spot at Lap 14. However, he would fall back through the course of the next run, electing to head down pit road just as the yellow flag waved at Lap 22 for issues for another competitor.
Restarting at the tail of the field, he would his way back up to 10th with 19 laps to go, only to be sent for a spin around on the backstretch following contact at Lap 43. Restarting tail of the field once again, he avoided the couple incidents ahead of him to cross the finish line with a 10th-place finish.
