MILLGROVE, Ontario — Even contact with the backstretch wall did not slow Luke Gignac down en route to a top-10 finish on Saturday at Flamboro Speedway.
Gignac scored a third-place finish in his heat, setting him up to start ninth in the feature. He would make his way up to fifth in the opening laps, though would fall back to 10th after climbing the backstretch wall a little just before halfway. Gignac battled back in the closing stages, scoring a seventh-place finish.
ADAMS Motorsports will be back in action for the next Queenston Chevrolet Buick GMC OSCAAR Modifieds presented by Just Foam It race at Peterborough Speedway at Sunday, October 10. Qualifying will take place on Friday, October 8, and Saturday, October 9.
