INNISFIL, Ontario — Battling up front all weekend long, Will Gibbons scored a top-five finish at Sunset Speedway’s Fall Velocity this past weekend.

Gibbons started off the weekend by placing fourth in his first heat, followed by a runner-up in the second qualiifer.

Starting fourth in the 35-lap feature, he maintained the position through the early stages, despite contact throughout the top-five runners. Restarting fifth following a quick caution at Lap 10, he’d battle for fourth, maintaining track position inside the top-five until the yellow flag at Lap 20.

Restarting in the third row,  he got a good restart and kept with the front runners to the checkered flag, and fifth-place finish.
