INNISFIL, Ontario — Despite starting off the night with a mechanical issue, Karlie Wilman was able to rebound for a top-10 in the feature.
Unfortunately, her night started off on a rough note as she failed to finish the first heat due to a mechanical issue on the last lap. The SKLD Motorsports crew, along with help from Phil Givens and Joshua Munro, quickly went to work in making the repairs necessary. She was able to make it back out for the next qualifier, placing 11th.
Starting 14th in the feature, she began to make her way forward through the course of the event, ultimately scoring a ninth-place finish.
SKLD Motorsports is proud to be sponsored by Dee’s Original Smoke Shack, Hamilton Contracting, Wilman Haulage, Unique Crew, Short Track Musings, SMG Motorsports, and The Canoe.
