Racing at two different tracks over the weekend, Paul Boundy was able to score a pair of top-10 finishes.
Battling at his home track of Peterborough Speedway on Saturday night, he started off the night with a second in his first heat, followed by a fifth in the second qualifier.
Starting fourth in the feature, he remained inside the top-five through the first seven laps, though would fade back over the next six circuits. He’d ultimately cross the finish line with an eighth-place finish.
Making the trip to Sunset Speedway on Sunday, he placed sixth in both of his heats, setting him up to start ninth for the feature. He would avoid a massive wreck on the front stretch on Lap 4 to jump up to eighth in the running order.
Restarting on the fourth row, he would drop back to 10th in the early stages after the restart, though battled back in the second half of the event for an eighth-place finish.
