PETERBOROUGH, Ontario — Despite going for an early race spin, Coltin Everingham rebounded for a top-10 finish on Sunday afternoon at Peterborough Speedway.

Starting mid-pack following a pair of qualifying heats, Everingham worked his way into the eight position in the early stages. Set to make his way forward on Lap 17 as the rain continued to dampen the surface, he would lock up the brakes trying to stay off a fellow competitor, going around for the spin.

Restarting deep in the field following a weather delay, he began to make his way forward, moving into ninth on Lap 22. He would drop back a couple spots over the long run, though ultimately was scored ninth at the checkered flag.

Everingham will be back behind the wheel of his familiar Pro Late Model this Friday, September 3, as he makes the trip to Delaware Speedway.
