MILLGROVE, Ontario — The experience behind the wheel continued to grow for rookie Cole Quinton on Saturday at Flamboro Speedway, with another pair of solid features under his belt.
The driver of the No. 18 Mustang continued to gain speed over the night, and found himself battling with some of the best in the division through both 20-lap features. It was not the cleanest night, as he went around for a quick spin. However, he kept pushing hard against the adversity, and it paid off with a pair of fourth-place finishes on the final results.
Despite some rocky moments through his rookie campaign, he currently ranks third in the standings, nine points out of the runner-up spot. He will hope to carry the positive momentum forward with having scored three top-five’s in a row.
Quinton will be back behind the wheel this weekend as part of Flamboro Speedway’s Fan Appreciation / Memorial Night.
He is proud to be sponsored by Wheeler Construction, Just Foam It, Spira Fire Protection, JT Excavating, Stage it with Style, Elmsa Steel, Sunvale Homes, Source for Sports, Lucas Oil, Wix Filters, Highgrade Roofing, Pita Pit Orangeville, Nick’s Journey, and Bob’s Ice Cream on-board the No. 18 Mustang.
