Cole Quinton Suffers Early Ending to Night at Flamboro Speedway

FLAMBORO, Ontario — Unfortunately, Cole Quinton would see his night at Flamboro Speedway end early on Saturday as a result of contact during the first feature.

After progressively finding speed through both practices, Cole Quinton entered the first feature confident. Just as he got ready to make his way forward, a bump into the back end of his No. 18 Mustang would see him spun around and backed into the wall. The feature would be over early, and he was credited with a 11th-place finish.

“It’s tough being raced with so little respect when you give so much,” he commented. “The winning speed in the car last night was great, and I was incredibly disappointed we couldn’t show more of it.”

The team was able to make repairs to have the car ready for the second feature, but Quinton elected to sit it out based on how he was feeling.

The team will regroup, making any additional repairs needed, and have the No. 18 Mustang ready to go next Saturday at Flamboro Speedway.

He is proud to be sponsored by Wheeler Construction, Just Foam It, Spira Fire Protection, JT Excavating, Stage it with Style, Elmsa Steel, Sunvale Homes, Source for Sports, Lucas Oil, Wix Filters, Highgrade Roofing, Pita Pit Orangeville, Nick’s Journey, and Bob’s Ice Cream on-board the No. 18 Mustang.
