Will Gibbons Fights Adversity for Pair of Top-Five’s at Flamboro Speedway

MILLGROVE, Ontario — The pure speed out of the No. 10 Honda still continued to shine through, as Will Gibbons scored a pair of top-five’s on Sunday at Flamboro Speedway despite tough circumstances.

Gibbons would not get a good draw for his starting spot in the first heat, set to roll off from the 11th starting spot. He would avoid an early wreck at the front of the field, making his way through the traffic as the race rolled on. Though with no cautions after the first lap incident, it made the chore even more difficult. Despite that, Gibbons was able to make his way to the front, and crossed the finish line in second on the leader’s bumper.

The second feature saw him start deep in the field once again with the invert, but immediately the No. 10 began to make his way forward. Unfortunately, contact ahead of him would result in Gibbons getting caught in the midst with right side damage. Repairs would be made, and restarting from the tail of the field, he made his way back up to third for the checkered flag.

Gibbons is proud to be supported by Norms Fast Lube, Speedy Auto Works, Speedy Auto Machine, and GC Equestrian Stables.
