INNISFIL, Ontario — Despite experiencing mechanical issues, Calvin Reesor was able to persevere for a top-10 finish.
Reesor started off the night by making it up to second in his first qualifier, but unfortunately was forced to pull off early with mechanical issues. He made it back out for the second heat, scoring a runner-up.
Starting fourth in the feature, he dropped back to fifth in the early stages, before contact with another competitor resulted in debris on the racing surface. Due to causing the yellow flag to clean that up, he would be forced to restart from the back.
Reesor battled hard through the second half despite performance gremlins, crossing the finish line in seventh.
Reesor’s first season at Sunset Speedway is supported by Barrie Nissan, OS Custom Exhaust & Performance, One Stop Muffler and Brake, Bullseye Axe Throwing, Barrie Fiberglass Pools and Spas, Barney’s Auto Electric, Auto Trim of Barrie, and Shepherds Docks.
