After having written a chapter in the Ontario short track books via late models and mini stocks, Brandon Feeney added another chapter to his racing career – Ontario Legends Series.
“I just wanna drive every kind of car,” he told SHORT TRACK MUSINGS about those aspirations.
Looking back on the shortened campaign, he noticed being surprised with how twitchy the cars were. His assessment comes based on getting the chance to run at both Flamboro Speedway and Peterborough Speedway, highlighted by a top-10 at Flamboro.
Now looking ahead to 2021, he says it will be critical to get seat time, while improving his “equipment to be more on par” with the competition, with goals set on just having fun behind the wheel of the No. 38 Liqui Moly Canada, Pioneer Plumbing, Auto Tires and Saftie, K1 Graphics, Signworks, Platinum RV Sales n Service, Matco Cools by Chris Vesters, Boundy Roofing, and RPM Race Part Legend. He’s also looking forward to getting the Legend on track at Sunset Speedway in 2021 following a couple late model top-10 performances at the 1/3-oval.
“I been trying to improve my driving habits there,” he added.
