LONDON, ON – United Racing Series management is continuing to work on a plan for the 2021 race season including a ten-race schedule for the APC Series and a five-race schedule for the Super Stocks. The tour will return to the same five venues planned for 2020 including: Delaware Speedway, Flamboro Speedway, Jukasa Motor Speedway, Sauble Speedway and Sunset Speedway. The APC Series will run a pair of events at each track while the Super Stock Series will run one event at each venue in 2021.
While there remain great levels of uncertainty with these trying and unprecedented times, series management is committed to working with the tracks and vice versa as the tracks have been great partners. Schedules are taking a little longer than usual as we work through COVID-19 but are close to completion and we hope to be able to announce details soon.
The addition of five Super Stock events will be widely received after three top quality events in 2020. The mini-series will follow the Ontario Super Stock rules package with race lengths and formats to be announced at a later date. Teams will be incentivized to race at their home track(s) events to compete for a championship in the touring series, including bonus points being added to their tour points for success at home track events. A more in depth and proper announcement regarding the addition of the Super Stock Series will come at a later date.
