MILLGROVE, Ontario —- Continuing to get used to the new car with each lap on the track, Brandon Feeney secured a top-10 finish in his Ontario Legends Series debut at Flamboro Speedway.
Feeney started the day off with practice, a couple seconds off the pace, only to find issues with grounding the rear of the chassis. With those addressed, he kept his nose clean through his qualifying heat, running a couple tenths of second faster than practice, securing a sixth-place finish, setting him up to start near the back in the feature.
He did not let that bother him, working his way forward with each lap while keeping nose clean. The constant improvement paid off with a 10th-place finish at the checkered flag.
Feeney will now shift his focus to the next event, scheduled at Peterborough Speedway on September 19.
