Despite his season coming to a close earlier than expected, Dylan Little was able to showcase his talent behind the wheel of a Living Lighting, Scott Reinhart Trailer Sales Ltd OSCAAR Pro Sprint in 2019.
Little made his series debut at Sunset Speedway in June, battling all day long en route to an 11th-place finish in the feature. He then went to Grand Bend Speedway a week later, and fought through mechanical issues to score a 10th-place finish.
Being able to return to his home track of Sunset Speedway worked out well for Little at the end of July, as it produced his best performance of the season. He led laps in both features, and battled hard throughout the distance of both with several side-by-side battles, en route to a sixth and a ninth in the pair of 20-lap events.
The momentum carried over to Flamboro Speedway as he ran with the pack throughout the afternoon, ultimately finishing 10th in the feature.
Just as he seemed to be getting a better handle on the car, mechanical issues struck in the next two events (Peterborough Speedway and Flamboro). As a result, the No. 93’s season would end earlier than expected.
Entering the season, Little noted his goal was to “keep things simple and have fun,” which was certainly achieved with some highlights through 2019. Although everything did not go accordingly, OSCAAR hopes to see Little back in the fold in 2020 and beyond, as he was a welcome addition and great competitor to watch.
