Living Lighting OSCAAR Pro Sprints Flamboro Speedway presented by Metro Air Preview

After a small break, the Living Lighting, Scott Reinhart Trailer Sales Ltd. OSCAAR Pro Sprints are set to get back in action this weekend at Flamboro Speedway, with their feature presented by Metro Air.

Daniel Hawn enters the event as the favorite as he has won five of the last six features at Flamboro Speedway. He has been victorious this year in every feature, except the Pro Sprint’s most recent event at Peterborough Speedway.

James Stanley got to experience victory lane for the first time at Peterborough Speedway, continuing his success with a top-five in each of the last 15 series events. He has ran well at Flamboro Speedway previously, scoring a pair of top-five’s in 2018.

Rob Summers is off to a solid start with a pair of top-five’s in four starts this season. He has ran well at Flamboro Speedway previously, scoring a fifth in 2017 to go along with three top-10’s last year.

Gary Triska will be looking for another solid run this weekend, after scoring a top-10 in 14 of his last 15 Pro Sprint events. He has ran well at Flamboro previously, scoring four top-10’s in five starts, including a fifth last season.

Ryan Battilana will hope to score his first career OSCAAR victory this weekend, following six podium finishes in the last 12 races. He has finished in the top-six in each of his three starts at Flamboro, including a pair of thirds last season.

Jaden Riddell will be looking for his fourth career OSCAAR Pro Sprint victory after four podiums thus far in 2019. He knows what it takes to win at Flamboro, winning the second feature at Frostoberfest in 2018.

Kevin Taylor hopes to continue finding speed, with no finishes outside of the top-nine in 2019, including a season-best fourth. His best finish at Flamboro Speedway is seventh, which he picked up last month.

Tyler Cullen has started off the 2019 campaign solidly, scoring four top-five’s in six races. He has also ran well at Flamboro through his career, with a pair of top-five’s at Frostoberfest in 2018.

Brian MacDonald made his return to Pro Sprint competition this year following a small break, scoring a 10th-place finish at Sunset Speedway. He finished ninth in both Frostoberfest features last year.

Owen Elliott made his first feature start at Peterborough Speedway to start the month, finishing sixth in the feature.

The battle for the Hinkley Lighting Rookie of the Year Award will be one to watch all season long.

Brad Holmes is coming off a stellar run, scoring his first career OSCAAR podium with a third-place finish at Peterborough Speedway. With no finishes outside of the top-10 in 2019, he hopes to improve upon his eighth-place finish at Flamboro last month.

Dylan Little will hope to run in the top-10 on Saturday afternoon, as he enters the weekend on the heels of four consecutive top-10 finishes. One of those was a 10th-place finish at Flamboro in July.

Russ Couture will also be looking for some more speed, after finishing eighth at Peterborough Speedway.

Rob McCall proved that he knows his way around Flamboro Speedway in July, winning both of his qualifying heats before a fourth in the feature.

Beyond the drivers mentioned here, there are others who have a potential of appearing and making things interesting. Make sure to come out to Flamboro Speedway on Saturday, August 24 to witness all of the action for yourself.
