PETERBOROUGH, Ontario — Running competitively throughout the night, Wally Wilson scored his second straight Outlaw Midget top-10 finish at Peterborough Speedway.
Wilson started off the night by finishing sixth in his first heat, followed by a seventh in the second qualifier.
Starting 12th in the feature, he would quickly make his way forward, avoiding a spin on Lap 4 to move up into seventh. Unfortunately, he would not remain there, fading back to ninth over the next 12 laps. He would continue to battle hard, though, crossing the finish line in ninth.
Wilson will be back behind the wheel of his No. 69 Queenston Chevrolet Buick GMC OSCAAR Modified on Friday, July 12 at Delaware Speedway. The feature is sponsored by his primary supporter The Fyre Place & Patio Shop.
Wally Wilson Racing will receive sponsorship support from The Fyre Place & Patio Shop, Larry’s Small Engines, Have1.com, NGK Spark Plugs, and Wix Filters for 2019. He will also be proudly supporting the #BurnOutTheBully campaign and Laps 4 Muscular Dystrophy (L4MD) program.
