Holmes and Gibbons Score Spring Velocity Heat Victories at Sunset

With some of the best G.D. Coates Used Car Superstore Mini Stock drivers on the property, it was looking like there’d be a great feature to come on Sunday afternoon. However, precipitation would see the event cut short.

The drivers were able to run the first round of heats before the rain took over the afternoon.

The first heat did not go smoothly, with Morgan Robson Jr. breaking before the green flag, followed by Craig Kamrath being spun in turn two by Curtis Stewart on Lap 9. Dylan Holmes picked up the win ahead of Chris LeBarron, Chandler Bos, Melissa Bullen, Terry Woodley, Kamrath, Dylan Sharpe, Tyler Seaboyer, Stewart, Eric Rainey and Shiann Wilman.

The second heat also featured a quick yellow flag, with Rob Wells spinning off of turn four. Will Gibbons picked up the checkered flag ahead of Erik Della Riva, Kevin Bridge, Samantha Shaw, Warren Paxton, Nolan Gould, Bob Phinnemore, Jason D’Antimo, Connor Maltese, and Wells.

The feature is set to be run on a later date to be determined by track officials following the regular scheduled night features.

The starting line-up for when the event is ran will see Will Gibbons and Dylan Holmes on the front row ahead of Chris LeBarron, Erik Della Riva, Chandler Bos, Kevin Bridge, Melissa Bullen, Samantha Shaw, Terry Woodley, Warren Paxton, Craig Kamrath, Nolan Gould, Dylan Sharpe, Bob Phinnemore, Tyler Seaboyer, Jason D’Antimo, Curtis Stewart, Connor Maltese, Eric Rainey, Peter Wakeling, Shiann Wilman, Rob Wells, and Morgan Robson Jr.
