Starting near the front of the field, Brandon Zavarella made his way to the front quickly, putting together a dominating performance en route to the victory.
Luc Munsie started pole ahead of Cassidy March, Dominique Smith, Cory Whittam, Brandon Zavarella, Darren Dryden, Jeff Blackburn, Steve Murdock, Rob Nealy, Lucas Smith, Mack DeMan, Bob Bailey, and the 16.
Munsie grabbed the early advantage with Zavarella alongside March for second. However, the caution would quickly fly on Lap 2 for Nealy going for a spin in turn two.
Zavarella got a good restart to get the lead, with Whittam alongside Munsie for second. Whittam got the spot, bringing Dryden and Smith through with him over the next couple of laps. Dryden would continue to move forward, taking the runner-up spot on Lap 10 ahead of Whittam, with Smith and Murdock side-by-side for fourth ahead of DeMan. DeMan would continue moving forward, making his way up into fourth on lap 13 ahead of Smith and Murdock, with Nealy back up to seventh ahead of Munsie and March. Smith would get alongside March for ninth on Lap 15, completing the pass as he would get by Munsie for eighth a lap later.
With 17 laps on the board, Zavarella led the field ahead of Dryden, Whittam, DeMan, Murdock, and Smith. DeMan’s progress forward continued with pass on Whittam for third at Lap 19. At the front of the field, Dryden would get alongside Zavarella for the lead, but would fall back in line behind him two laps later as the leaders weaved their way through lap traffic.
