INNSFIL, Ontario — Battling hard throughout the feature on Saturday night at Sunset Speedway, Ryan Semple would pick up a top-10 finish.
Semple started off the day by placing fifth in his first heat, followed by a third-place finish in the second after a fierce battle all race long.
Starting 11th in the feature, he would make his way up to ninth by Lap 12, escaping a wreck ahead of him among the top-five to move up to eighth with 11 laps to go. Restarting just inside of the top-10, he’d escape an incident down the backstretch to gain another spot to move up two more spots to sixth. The restart saw another incident, with Semple falling back a spot to seventh as the caution flew. Unfortunately, the race would called seven laps shy of the scheduled distance due to a time limit with the APC Series AP Exhaust 100 still left to run on the night.
