OSCAAR Pro Midgets Grand Bend Speedway Preview

After a week off to catch their breathes, the OSCAAR Pro Midgets will be back in action this Saturday at Grand Bend Speedway for the 12th feature of 2017.

Everybody will be gunning for Jordan Hanna this weekend certainly, as he swept both features at Grand Bend in August. Although he has won eight times this year, he will be looking to turn things around after issues took him out of the running at Flamboro Speedway.

James Stanley will be back behind the wheel of his familiar No. 57, looking to back-up his fourth-place finish at Sauble Speedway. Notably, he posted a ninth earlier this season at Grand Bend.

Cassidy March hopes to turn things around, following three straight finishes outside of the top-10. He ran well at Grand Bend last year, posting a runner-up finish.

Inaugural OSCAAR Pro Midget Champion Ted Greenwood enters this weekend coming off a season-best second-place finish at Flamboro Speedway. He now has momentum on his side following four top-fives in the last five events, including a pair at Grand Bend in August. Oh, and he was the winner at Grand Bend last year, too.

Rob Summers will be looking for another top-10 as he enters this weekend with three straight, including a fifth-place finish at Flamboro. He posted a best-finish of ninth at Grand Bend in August.

Brent Kemps will be looking for his fourth top-five of 2017 after posting no finishes outside of the top-10 thus far in eight starts. Notably, he was in the top-five in both features at Grand Bend in August with a third and a fifth.

Gary Triska will be looking for another top-10 this weekend after posting a pair of ninth-place finishes at Flamboro Speedway. He has a track-best of 10th at Grand Bend.

Daniel Hawn will be looking for his fourth career victory after sweeping both features at Flamboro Speedway. He did well at Grand Bend in August, scoring a pair of runner-ups.

Brody Rickwood could break through for his first win as a rookie as he continues to perform each week with top-10’s on a weekly basis. He posted an eighth and a sixth in his last Grand Bend appearance.

Steve Belfry will be looking for his first top-five following a career-best at Flamboro in July.

Shawn Paul will be looking for his sixth top-10 of the year, following four straight including a fourth at Flamboro last month. He has track-best of seventh at Grand Bend.

Craig Pitchell has impressed since making his debut at Flamboro, posting seven top-10’s in eight features, highlighted by a runner-up last month.
