Wally Wilson Continues Learning at Kawartha Speedway

The learning curve for Wally Wilson continued at Kawartha Speedway this past Friday night as he completed all 30 laps in the feature en route to a top-20 finish.

Wilson started off the night by placing sixth in his first heat, followed by a seventh in his second qualifier.

Starting 25th for the feature, Wilson was able to hold his line through the entire event, gaining speed at times as he continued to get used to the quick half-mile Fraserville, Ontario oval. With an ability to escape each of the incidents throughout the race, he gained ground each lap, en route to crossing the finish line in 19th.

Wilson’s OSCAAR Modified season will continue on July 29 with his third visit of 2017 to Flamboro Speedway. After experiencing motor issues in his most recent trip, the team hopes they’re in the rearview so they can improve upon the 12th-place finish from their May debut.

Wally Wilson Racing is proud to be supported by Have1.com and The Fyre Place & Patio Shop this season. He is also a proud supporter of #BurnOutTheBully and Laps for Muscular Dystrophy.
