After an exciting season last year, the Ontario Pro Challenge Series is set for another jam-packed year of racing action across Ontario.
This past season, Tim Norris was able to pick up another championship with his three feature victories, 33 points ahead of Kyle Batty who managed to pick up six victories.
While they kicked off last year’s schedule at Delaware Speedway, this season will kick off at Flamboro Speedway on May 13. The series will then make their lone trip to Peterborough Speedway on May 27, two weeks later.
The OPC’s lone trip to Delaware has now been shifted to June, as they will join the NASCAR Pinty’s Series at the half-mile in London, Ontario. From there, they will make their first of three appearances at Sunset Speedway on June 17, followed by their first of two appearances at Sauble Speedway on June 24 as part of the beach’s season-opener.
The month of July will feature two trips to Flamboro (July 8 and July 22), before heading back to Sauble to complete the month. August will kick off with Peterborough (Aug 12), followed by Sunset (Aug 19). They will make their final appearance at Flamboro on September 9, before crowning their champion at Sunset on September 23 as part of the Innisfil, Ontario’s Velocity 250.
