They say there’s no place like home, and that seems to be holding true for Tyler Hawn as he once again went to victory lane at the end of the Knightworks Design, Scott Reinhart Trailer Sales Ltd OSCAAR Hot Rod feature presented by Streamline Race Products.
Following a successful season that saw him reach victory lane on a couple occasions, Tyler Hawn will be taking aim at his third straight Knightworks Design OSCAAR Hot Rod Series Championship.
Each year, OSCAAR is proud to meet up and talk racing with those at the Motorama Custom Car and Motorsports Show, and this season will be no different. The series plans to be in attendance, showcasing the cars and drivers that make up the tour.
With consistency on a weekly basis highlighted by some trips to victory lane, Tyler Hawn put together another spectacular campaign en route to being crowned the 2018 OSCAAR Hot Rod Series Champion. Notably, it marks his first title in a row after taking home the year-end award in the inaugural season.

In the first OSCAAR Hot Rod Series event at Jukasa Motor Speedway, it’d be a familiar face taking home the checkered flag.
In a battle that went all the way down to the checkered flag, it’d be Tyler Hawn edging out Dan Archibald for the OSCAAR Hot Rod Series victory at Sunset Speedway.
If the season opener is any indication, it’s going to be a great year of competitive OSCAAR Hot Rod Series racing. At the end of the first event, though, a familiar face was in victory lane as Tyler Hawn scored the win.
Even though most of the teams are already busy preparing for the 2018 campaign, there was still some left over business from last year as 2017 OSCAAR Hot Rod Series Champion Tyler Hawn was recognized at the series banquet on Saturday, February 3.
