With three races left in the 2017 season, the OSCAAR Modified Championship standings are closer than they’ve ever been with intrigue surrounding who will walk away with the title.
The last two weeks for the Super Stocks have been highlight reel worthy – from three-wide on the last lap, to the closest finish of the year. Now we’re set to ramp it up with a notch with the Short Track Playoffs? Oh boy……

Ahh….the regular season is over and the champions have been crowned, which congratulations to each of those. Really, well-deserving on the part of the Late Model Champion Gord Shepherd as he put together a killer season with consistency, and a couple trips to victory lane to boot.
For the first time since 2015, OSCAAR will grace the high banks of Sunset Speedway as the series makes its return at the Velocity 250.
With the division growing with each passing week, the OSCAAR Hot Rods are ready for the sixth event of the 2017 season, which will take place at Sunset Speedway’s Velocity 250. It’ll be a busy weekend for teams, with a pair of features on tap across the two days.
