Alas, the snow has finally melted and the race season is about to be put into full gear. The OSCAAR Hot Rod Series will be the first of the three divisions to hit the track this year, and in the most fitting way possible as they will help Sunset Speedway celebrate their 50th anniversary.

Particularly, the Mini Stocks have garnered a lot of attention, thanks to the efforts by Rich Schwartzenburg to garner event, award, and lap sponsors to bring the purse to over $6800.
