PREVIEW: Overkill Enterprises OSCAAR Modifieds at Full Throttle Motor Speedway

DURHAM, Ontario — In May of 2012, a group of racers walked into a track not knowing what would come over the next 14 years as the new series they were set to be apart of in the inaugural campaign.

Flash Forward to July 2026, and the Overkill Enterprises OSCAAR Modifieds will make history this weekend on Saturday, July 18 with their 150th career series race.

Over the years, there has been some things that have remained the same, while others have changed – but you can always count on the open-wheel warriors to put on a show when they hit the high-banks of the quarter-mile.

Here are some of the drivers to watch this weekend.

Matt Haufe found success at Sunset Speedway last year in his rookie campaign with the open-wheel cars. The very successful Legend racer has also started off this year solidly with a sixth at Sauble Speedway and seventh at Delaware Speedway.

Third generation racer Eric McLean made his modified debut at Sauble, and has been solid to kick off 2026 with a pair of eighth-place finishes. He knows his way around FTMS as evident by racing a bone stock there previously.

Daryl Henwood has been running a second entry for Trendell Racing, and has been solid with a ninth at Sauble and a sixth at Delaware.

Jason Keen was able to rebound from his struggles to kick off the year at Sauble as evident with a strong fourth-place finish at Delaware Speedway. He has not had the best of luck at Full Throttle in the past, with a track-best seventh in 2024 following a late-race spin.

Bryan Batty hopes to find the same success which led him to 19 top-10 finishes in 32 previous appearances. He ran well at Sauble with a runner-up finish, and placed seventh at FTMS in 2023 with a heat win.

2025 OSCAAR Modified Series Champion Steve Trendell has been fast the past two years at Full Throttle, as evident by finishes of second and fourth. He will hope to find his way to Scott Reinhart Trailer Sales victory lane for the second time in his first career, after having scored no finishes outside the top-five in his last 10 series appearances.

Brent McLean is no stranger to OSCAAR victory lane, as evident by having won five times throughout his career. In total, he has scored 44 top-10’s in 57 series appearances, including a 10th-place finish at Sauble. He is also one of three drivers to have visited victory lane twice at Full Throttle.

Dale Reinhart comes into the driver as the one to beat, based on his recent trips to victory lane. He has kicked off the 2026 campaign by winning the first two events at Sauble and Delaware, and was the winner last season at Full Throttle in dominating fashion. Notably, he has not finished outside the top-five in his last 10 series appearances.

Wally Wilson will be looking to rebound after mechanical issues ended his day early at Delaware. He had entered the year with momentum with a fifth in the season opener, and has placed sixth and ninth in his previous trips to Full Throttle.

Don’t miss the action at Full Throttle Motor Speedway this weekend as it will include The Fyre Place & Patio Shop OSCAAR Hot Rods presented by Bromley Automotive.
