LONDON, Ontario — After coming close several times over the past year, Thomas Wunsch put all the pieces together on Saturday, June 27 to score his first career The Fyre Place & Patio Shop OSCAAR Hot Rods presented by Bromley Automotive Ltd feature victory.

Taking The Car Guy green flag on the second row for the feature, Wunsch found his way into the top spot on the third lap. The driver of the No. 47t Camaro stretched his advantage over the field from there, holding a commanding advantage when he took the checkered flag to head to Knightworks Design Victory Lane.

Lane Zardo made the most of his second appearance with the series, winning one of the qualifying heat races before running up front all feature long en route to a runner-up finish. Dalen Martin proved he can still find his way around the half-mile with a third, with Jay Doerr and Jacob Booth completing the top-five.

Steve Book, who picked up a checkered flag during heat race action, crossed the finish line in sixth ahead of Tyler Hawn, Daniel Hawn, Drew Richardson, and Trevor Thompson.

Brian Wilson was 11th, followed by Ryan Cowan, Lucas Chapman, Thomas Jeremy, Ayden McNicol, and Tom Walters. Unfortunately, Walters’ night ended on Lap 7 with a blown motor.

The Fyre Place & Patio Shop OSCAAR Hot Rods presented by Bromley Automotive Ltd are back in action on Saturday, July 18 at Full Throttle Motor Speedway alongside the Overkill Enterprise OSCAAR Modifieds.
