Jake Sheridan Victorious in APC Series Event at Flamboro Speedway

MILLGROVE, Ontario — Finding his way to the front in the late stages of the event, Jake Sheridan was able to make the late-race pass to score the victory in the APC Auto Parts United Racing Series Grisdale 100 at Flamboro Speedway on Saturday, May 30.

Taking the green flag on the second row, Sheridan kept himself within the top-five for the duration of the event, finding his way into the second on Lap 20. He would then track down Brandon Watson in the later half of the event, making the pass for the lead on Lap 80. He then led the final 20 laps for his first series victory of the 2026 campaign.

Junior Farrelly out-battled Shawn Chenoweth for a runner-up finish ahead of Shae Gemmell and Dale Shaw. Brandon Watson rebounded from a spin for sixth in front of Connor Pritiko, Tyler Di Venanzo, Kyle Steckly and Mike Bentley. Notably, Steckly was the quickest car in qualifying.

Kendra Adams was 11th with Connor Maltese, Glenn Styres, and Josh Stade rounding out the field. Stade, who won the series opener at Delaware Speedway, fell out of the event on Lap 40 with a broken right front control arm.

The T.Q. Can-Am Midgets were also on-hand with James Stanley continuing his winning ways at Flamboro Speedway, taking the lead on Lap 2 for pacing the rest of the 25-lap feature.
