INNISFIL, Ontario — Starting on the front row, Blaise Shaw dominated the Mini Stock feature on Saturday night at Sunset Speedway.
Shaw started off the night by showing speed in his qualifying heat and taking the checkered flag, giving him the pole for the main event. From there on, there was no catching him as Shaw drove his mustang away from the field, out to a straightaway advantage en route to the victory.
Jacob Sutcliffe started mid pack and was able to work his way through the traffic to second, however unable to catch Shaw in the second half of the event. Ryder White’s consistency continued with a third-place finish ahead of Cameron McGlashan and Wyatt Sutcliffe, who battled it out for a number of laps back and forth.
Chris Cunningham made the most of his first appearance of 2025 with a sixth ahead of Curtis Burnett, Coleridge Phinnemore, John Bird, and Madisson Tienkamp.
Aundrea Lusk was 11th, followed by Chris Allard, Bob Phinnemore, Eric Rainey, Kris Inglis, and Chandler Bos.
Heat victories went to Blaise Shaw and Jacob Sutcliffe.
