BARRIE, Ontario — After a great season of competition across the province, the Outlaw Midgets presented by Canadian Tire Innisfil gathered at the Ferndale Banquet Hall for a night of food, laughs, and awards.

With 11 feature wins and 14 heat victories, Jessica James was celebrated as the series champion, collecting the hardware for a job well done. Her competitors also collected plaques of their own, with each of the top-20 finishers walking out with something.

Dan Kviring’s decision to come asphalt racing after years in the dirt world paid off, as he got better throughout the season. He would complete the 2022 campaign with nine feature top-10’s and 16 heat top-five’s was enough to capture the Rookie of the Year Award.

Each of the sponsors and supporters through the season was given a plaque as thank you for their continued support of the club. Each attendee at the banquet was able to take home a door prize, courtesy of a series of donations from sponsor and others.

Outlaw Midgets would like to thank Canadian Tire Innisfil, Dayco, Falcon Tire & Services, Aurora Tirecraft, NDTGroup.ca, and Bitchin’ Bodies for the support all year. Additionally, thank you to Fast Eddie’s Speedwear, Fielding Estate Winery, Grisdales Race Products, Dave Inglis, and Zach & Derek Millman for donating prizes for the banquet.
