LONDON, Ontario — Battling all throughout the night at Delaware Speedway, Brandon Feeney was able to pick up a top-20 finish on Friday night.
Laying down a lap of 20.716 seconds during time trials, Feeney would set himself up to start 18th on the grid.
He escaped an incident early coming to the green, and battled hard throughout the 50 lap affair in looking to make up ground at a track where his experience behind the wheel is lacking. He ran just outside the top-15 through the event, losing ground at times, but yet able to make it back up.
He ultimately crossed the finish line in 18th, but was credited with a 17th-place finish with another competitor being disqualified.
Notably, he has scored 15 top-10 finishes in 2022, including five top-five’s over the last 10 events.
