INNISFIL, Ontario — Calvin Reesor put together another solid night at Sunset Speedway, as evident by a top-10 finish.
After crashing out of the feature last week, there was no denying Reesor Racing wanted to turn around their luck this weekend with a solid performance. It started from the drop of the initial green flag in qualifying, as evident by a pair of strong heats.
Starting deep in the field for the feature, he would look to make progress forward through the traffic. With everyone getting faster, and a lot of two-wide racing, it was not easy to make up ground on Saturday night. Reesor was able to make a couple moves, ultimately crossing the finish line in seventh.
Notably, Calvin Reesor has scored seven top-five’s in 11 races this season.
Currently ranked second in the standings, just 12 points behind the leader, he will look to have a pair of strong events as part of a double-header weekend on September 3 and 4.
Reesor Racing is proud to be supported by Barrie Nissan, Auto Trim of Barrie, HWY 400 Transmission, Greywood Customs, Bullseye Axe Throwing, One Stop Brakes and Muffler, OS Performance and Exhaust, Streamline Race Products, Garage Supply, Short Track Musings, Shepherd Docks, Holland Rustic, Race Wives Designs, and Francis Tin, Wires, and Wraps.
