INNISFIL, Ontario — Despite being involved in an early incident, Chris Allard fought back for a top-10 on Saturday night at Sunset Speedway.
Allard started off the night showing speed, placing fifth in the first heat, followed by a fourth in the second qualifier.
Starting on the front row for the feature, he broke out to the early advantage, pacing the first couple laps before the first caution at Lap 2. The restart would see him knee-deep in a battle for the lead, with contact a couple laps later, causing Allard to slow in the corner and a yellow flag.
Restarting at the tail of the field following a pit stop, he would move back up to seventh by Lap 7, making a couple moves in the second half of the feature ne route to a sixth-place finish.
It marks his sixth straight top-10.
