LONDON, Ontario — Battling hard both days at Delaware Speedway, Wally Wilson would score a top-10 finish during OSCAAR Nationals.
Wilson started off the weekend by placing ninth in his qualifier, to set him to start 17th for the 50-lap feature. He would escape the wreck on the opening lap, though had to make his way to the pits during the second half due to brake issues. He would be scored with a ninth-place finish.
He carried the momentum over to Saturday, scoring an eighth in his qualifier, to set him to start 15th for the feature. He would make his way forward up to 12th by the first yellow flag on Lap 5. The race would go back green, but unfortunately mechanical issues resulted in the No. 69 heading into the pits early. He would be scored with a 13th-place finish.
