SAUBLE BEACH, Ontario — Jessica James kept her dominating season going at Sauble Speedway this past weekend, winning the pair of features ran as part of the track’s Canada Day weekend doubleheader.

Friday, July 1

Rob McCall won the first heat in front of Jessica James, Jeff Blackburn, Dave Inglis, Rob Harrison, and Zach Millman, while Mikey Homewood failed to finish.

Mike Bradley was victorious in the second qualifier ahead of Dave Bradley, Larry Lawson, Jamie Kay, Kevin Spiez, Dan Kviring, and Kayla Semple.

Come feature time, it’d be Jessica James working her way to the front for the victory. Dave Bradley scored a season-best runner-up in front of Rob McCall, Jamie Kay, and Mike Bradley. Kevin Spiez placed sixth for his third top-10 of 2022 ahead of Dan Kviring, Mikey Homewood, and Kayla Semple.

Jeff Blackburn was the first driver that failed to finish in 10^th, followed by Dave Inglis, Larry Lawson, Rob Harrison, and Zach Millman.

Saturday, July 2

Jessica James picked up another checkered flag by winning the first heat in front of Kevin Spiez, Rob Harrison, Dave Inglis, and Kayla Semple, as both Mike Bradley and Larry Lawson did not take the green flag.

Rob McCall got his third heat win of 2022 ahead of Jeff Blackburn, Dan Kviring, Jamie Kay, Dave Bradley, and Zach Millman, as Mikey Homewood failed to finish.

The same tale could be written for the feature once again, as Jessica James proved to be fast in working her way to the front to score her fifth straight victory. Rob McCall placed second for his fourth consecutive top-five, followed by Jeff Blackburn, Mike Bradley, and Larry Lawson. Kevin Spiez was sixth once again ahead of Rob Harrison, Dan Kviring, Kayla Semple, and Dave Inglis.

Dave Bradley and Mikey Homewood rounded out the top-12, while Zach Millman failed to finish. Notably, Jamie Kay was disqualified in post-race inspection.

The Outlaw Midgets are back in action on Canada Day weekend on July 16 at Grand Bend Speedway.
