INNISFIL, Ontario — Despite some contact during the feature at Sunset Speedway, Chris Allard was able to push through en route to a top-10 finish on Saturday night.
Chris Allard began the night by showing speed throughout qualifying, putting the No. 76 amongst the front runners in both 10-lap heat races to set him up strong for the feature.
Starting in the front couple of rows, Allard began to make his way forward in the early stages, running inside the top-five as he battled amongst the leaders. The feature would see some highlights with his quickest lap of the event with 10 laps to go, though also contact along the way which resulted in him catching some air.
Despite the mixed affair of events, he stayed focused through the 25 laps, fading outside of the top-five in the final stages for a sixth-place finish.
It marks his fourth straight top-10, with a best finish this season of fourth.
