Tom Walters Hat Tricks En Route To Hot Rod Feature Victory

Taking the lead at the halfway mark, Tom Walters did not look back en route to winning the Qwick Wick OSCAAR Hot Rods presented by Sauble Falls Tent and Trailer Park feature fueled by EPIC Racewear on Sunday at Sunset Speedway.

Steve Book was victorious in the second qualifier in front of Amanda Balson, Donny Beatty, Jeremy Taggert, Bill Zardo, Sean Walker, and Ryan Cowan. There was a caution flag when contact between Jim Blackwell and Zardo sent both cars around, with Jaeger McMaster making significant contact with Blackwell in the process.

The third heat did not start off as planned, with Paul Bogensberger Jr. going for a spin on the opening lap. Amanda Balson picked up the win ahead of Beatty, Zardo, Bromley, Foster, Paul Senior, Ellis, Hannah, and Bogensberger Jr.
