MILLGROVE, Ontario — Flamboro Speedway will play host to some great racing action in the upcoming year, including a pair of visits by the Queenston Chevrolet Buick GMC OSCAAR Modifieds presented by Just Foam It, and Knightworks Design OSCAAR Hot Rods.
The pair of tours will make their first appearance at the 1/3-mile oval in Saturday, August 27, followed by their annual appearance at Frostoberfest on Saturday, October 1.
The tour visited once in 2021, putting on a pair of thrilling events this past October.
Andy Kamrath turned a third-place starting spot into leading every single lap of the Modified feature en route to winning. T.J. Edwards finished second in front of Dale Reinhart, Jason Keen, and Ryan Dick.
The Hot Rod feature included some late-race contact, with Jaeger McMaster and Cole Weber getting tangled together with a couple laps to go. Dalen Martin snuck by in his No. 26 Mustang to take over the top spot, and score the victory. Nick Clarke put in a season-best second, followed by Tyler Hawn, Steve Book, and Trevor Thompson.
The Modifieds have made 18 trips to the Millgrove, Ontario oval with John Harper leading the series with four victories. While nine different drivers have hoisted the trophy, only four have won on multiple occasions with Gary McLean, A.J. Emms, and Kamrath joining Harper.
The Hot Rods have made eight trips to Flamboro, with Nick Clarke and Tyler Hawn leading the series with two victories each. Adam Misener, Rodney Rutherford, Steve Book, and Dalen Martine are the other winners.
With a history of must-see races at Flamboro Speedway, both of these dates should be on the must-attend list for any race fan. There will also be plenty of other big events on the 2022 schedule, which will be released by track officials closer to the race season.
