It was a battle from the initial drop of the green flag this season, right to the very last checkered flag at Peterborough Speedway. But ultimately when the dust settled, it’d be Richard Woodland standing tall as the 2021 Outlaw Midgets presented by Canadian Tire Innisfil Champion.
With the year wrapped up in the books, here’s a glance at some numbers from the year.
2nd was the best average finish of any driver, set by Jeff Blackburn, in his lone start at the Autumn Colours Classic
2 feature wins for Mike Bradley and Jessica James led all drivers this season
2.5 was the second-best average finish of any driver, set by Dave Bradley, across his four starts this season
3 drivers scored more than 10 heat top-five’s this season – Wayne McKibbon, Richard Woodland, and Jamie Kay
4th was the best average finish of any driver to run all seven races, set by Woodland
4.167 was the fourth best average finish of any driver, set by Mike Bradley, across six races
5 heat races won by Mike Bradley for the second-most of all drivers this season
5 drivers scored more than three feature top-five’s this season – Woodland, Larry Lawson, Dave Bradley, Kay, and Mike Bradley
5 drivers won a feature this season
5 drivers scored more than five feature top-10’s this season – McKibbon, Rob Harrison, Lawson, Woodland, and Kay.
5th was the fifth-best average finish of any driver, set by Lorne Van Dusen and Lawson
6 heat races won by Woodland and Jody Bound led all drivers this season
6 feature five’s for Woodland led all drivers this season
7 drivers won heat races this season
7 feature top-10’s by McKibbon led all drivers, giving him a perfect season
7 features were ran this season, with six of those counting towards the points title
8 of Lawson scored his first career series victory at Sauble Speedway
12 heat top-five’s for McKibbon led all drivers this season
12 drivers scored a feature top-five this season
15 of Dave Bradley won one of the features at Peterborough Speedway this season
17 drivers scored a heat top-five this season

22 points separated Woodland and Mike Bradley at season’s end
48 of Woodland won the final race of points portion of the season at Sunset Speedway
