By The Numbers: Queenston Chevrolet Buick GMC OSCAAR Modifieds Presented By Just Foam It Season

Beginning in May at Sunset Speedway, the stars of the Queenston Chevrolet Buick GMC OSCAAR Modifieds presented by Just Foam It would visit five different tracks and host seven races en route to crowning a champion at Peterborough Speedway in October.

After showing speed in the shortened 2020 campaign, T.J. Edwards came out this year and was consistent throughout the season, scoring only one finish worse than fourth en route to being crowned the 2021 OSCAAR Modified Champion.

As we take a look back at the season, here are some numbers to consider.

2nd is the best average finish of any driver, set by J.R. Fitzpatrick, in his lone start at the Autumn Colours Classic

2nd was Kelly Balson’s best finish this year en route to placing fifth in points

3 drivers won a feature – Andy Kamrath, A.J. Emms, and Marshall Schrenk

3rd was Dale Reinhart’s best finish en route to placing sixth in the standings

4 drivers won more than one heat race – Kamrath, Dale Reinhart, TJ Edwards, and Coltin Everingham

4th is the best average finish of any driver to run all the races this season, set by Edwards

4.5 is the second-best average finish of any driver this season, set by Kamrath

5 feature wins for Kamrath led all drivers this season

5 drivers scored more six heat top-five’s – Balson, Edwards, Jason Keen, Reinhart, and Norman Newman

5 heat wins for Kamrath led all drivers this season

5 drivers scored more than two feature top-five’s – Edwards, Keen, Kamrath, Emms, and Reinhart

5.86 is the third-best average finish of any driver this season, set by Keen

6 feature top-five’s by Edwards led all drivers this season

6th is the fourth-best average finish of any driver this season, set by Jade Franklin and Mark Summit in their lone single starts

6 feature top-10’s by Balson, Edwards, Keen, and Emms led all drivers this season

6 point advantage gave Edwards the Living Lighting Rookie of the Year honors over Everingham

6.5 is the fifth-best average finish of any driver this season, set by Chris Milwain

6.86 is the sixth-best average finish of any driver this season, set by Balson

7 features were ran this season

9 heat top-five’s by Balson, Edwards, and Keen led all drivers this season

10th was Wally Wilson’s best finish en route to placing 10th in the standings

13 points gave Edwards the John Harper Hard Charger Award over Luke Gignac

14 different drivers scored a feature top-five this season

No. 14 of Emms scored his feature victory in Spring Velocity at Sunset Speedway

14 different drivers won a heat race this season

14th was Edwards’ worst finish en route to the championship, and only result worse than fourth

19 modifieds was the lower single-race car count of the season

21 points separated Edwards and Kamrath at the top of the standings at year-end

No. 22 of Schrenk scored his feature victory at Sunset Speedway in September

22 modifieds was the best single-race car count of the season, occurring at Sunset Speedway in August

25 different drivers scored a feature top-10 this season

32 different drivers scored a top-five in heat race competition

38 points separated the top-six in the standings

36 different drivers ran a race throughout the season
