Mechanical Woes Take Boundy out of Frostoberfest Contention

MILLGROVE, Ontario — After having a strong start to the short track playoffs, Paul Boundy’s hopes of ending it off on a high went up in smoke.

Laying down a lap of 16.904 seconds, Boundy would qualify 15th for the 50-lap Frostoberfest feature at Flamboro Speedway. He was able to make up a bit of ground in the early 10 laps of the event, though unfortunately smoke began to escape from the No. 08 Super Stock. Boundy then pulled down into the infield with a fire, done for the event on Lap 11.

He was credited with a 18th-place finish.

The No. 08 is proud to carry sponsorship from Boundy Roofing, Mark Rainford Auto Centre, Krown Whitby, Cozy Home Heating and Air Conditioning, Orono Country Cafe, Mayhew Auto, and Signworks.
