MILLGROVE, Ontario — A mid-race incident would hurt Wally Wilson’s showing at Flamboro Speedway.

He finished third in his heat, setting him up to start outside pole for the feature.

Unfortunately, he would drop back through the field early, running 16th with just six laps on the board. He would then get tangled up with another competitor on Lap 14, before heading pit side with issues on Lap 21. He was credited with a 16th-place finish.

Wilson will be back behind the wheel for the next Queenston Chevrolet Buick GMC OSCAAR Modifieds presented by Just Foam It race at Peterborough Speedway on Sunday, October 10.
