MILLGROVE, Ontario — Cole Quinton put the icing on the season in style, scoring a podium finish to cap off the year at Flamboro Speedway’s Frostoberfest.

Qualifying fifth for the 50-lap feature, he moved up to fourth in the early laps, attempting to make a move for third with 10 laps on the board, but unable to do so. He ultimately slipped back to fifth, but was able to get the spot back as the field spread out with 30 laps on the board.

He then moved into third two laps later, avoiding a collision in turns one and two when a fellow competitor laid down fluid through the turn. Restarting on the second row, he’d battle for the third spot, taking it with nine laps left on the board. He tried to close the gap on the leaders, but was unable to do so, crossing the finish line in third.
