INNISFIL, Ontario — Battling against some of the fastest cars in the province, Calvin Reesor scored a top-five finish to complete his rookie campaign at Sunset Speedway.
Reesor started off the weekend with a third in the first heat, followed by a fourth in the second qualifier.
Starting second for the feature, he ran in the runner-up spot for the first six laps unchallenged, though dropped back to fifth by Lap 15. He rebounded, though, getting a spot back on Lap 17, battling hard to the checkered flag for a fourth-place finish.
Reesor’s first season at Sunset Speedway is supported by Barrie Nissan, OS Custom Exhaust & Performance, One Stop Muffler and Brake, Bullseye Axe Throwing, Barrie Fiberglass Pools and Spas, Barney’s Auto Electric, Auto Trim of Barrie, Greywood Custom Stairs and Railings, and Shepherds Docks.
