INNISFIL, Ontario — After being involved in a wreck in qualifying, Ryder White rebounded to win the Fall Velocity feature at Sunset Speedway.
Laila Walser won the first heat in front of Kyle Parker, Ryder White, Jake Spencer-Walt, Keegan Moat, the 77, Oliver Ferguson, Cole Kamrath, and the 86. The race ended with a couple fireworks, though, as Parker and White made contact coming to the checkered flag.
The second qualifier started off with a quick incident, as Spencer-Walt went around for a spin in turn four. Ryder White picked up the checkered flag ahead of Walser, Parker, Moat, Ferguson, the 77, Kamrath, the 67, and the 86.
Come feature time, Ryder White started pole in front of Laila Walser, Kyle Parker, Oliver Ferguson, the 77, Keegan Moat, Jake Spencer-Walt, Cole Kamrath, the 67, and the 86.
Ryder White grabbed the early advantage at the front of the field, with Walser and Parker side-by-side for second. Parker grabbed the spot on Lap 2 ahead of Walser with Ferguson fourth in front of the 77, as Spencer-Walt and Moat battled for sixth. Moat got the spot on Lap 4, as the 67 ran eighth in front of Kamrath and the 86.
Spencer-Walt would challenge for sixth once again on Lap 8, taking the spot, and tried to pass the 77 for fifth two laps later, but was unsuccessful. He tried once again on Lap 13 and was successful, as Ferguson passed Walser for third with two laps to go.
There would be a late-caution with just a couple laps left, set up by the 67 going around with two laps to go.
The restart saw battles through the field, but Ryder White held the clear advantage as he snagged the victory in front of Kyle Parker, Jake Spencer-Walt, Keegan Moat, the 77, Laila Walser, Oliver Ferguson, Cole Kamrath, and the 86.
