INNISFIL, Ontario — Despite not getting the result he wanted last week, Paul Boundy has not let that get him down entering this coming weekend.
During last Saturday’s Qwick Wick Super Stock Series event, Boundy was able to lay down the seventh quickest lap in qualifying at 15.815 seconds.
He started eighth for the 50-lap main event, moving up to sixth by the caution at Lap 12. Unfortunately, he ran into issues, making his way down pit road as the field took to green for the restart. He was credited with a 19th-place finish.
Despite placing deep in the field, Boundy returns to Sunset Speedway this weekend confident for Fall Velocity on September 18 and 19 after the speed shown. He hopes to turn it into a good strong start to the playoff season.
The No. 08 is proud to carry sponsorship from Boundy Roofing, Mark Rainford Auto Centre, Krown Whitby, Cozy Home Heating and Air Conditioning, Orono Country Cafe, Mayhew Auto, and Signworks.
